About Belle Photography, LLC
Belleography specializes in event photography, graphic design, and marketing. I take a different approach to the traditional studio style photographs. I like to take my camera to the outdoors to capture the most magical light, sunlight. Let us take your photo and custom frame it. The hardest part for you is picking your favorite picture(s) and hanging.

How I got into Photography:
My grandfather was a professional photographer in the 70's in Austin, Texas photographing weddings and portraits on film. In college, I decided to check it out and see what the fuss was all about. I studied Silver photography learning how to develop my film and process in a dark room. Gosh, I hated it! HA! You can't take someone like me who thrives on sunlight and being around people and keep them locked up in a dark room! So, I switched over and started studying digital photography. THIS was my happy place! Not only did it make me a better Graphic Designer but, I could interact with people AND be a computer geek! SCORE! It has been true love!
What do I shoot with?
I started with a base model DSLR; mine was a Canon Rebel with the lens kit. Then I switched over to Olympus in 2008. In 2012 I closed my studio in Bastrop and returned to graduate school. Now here I am in the Fort Worth area relaunching my company dabbling with Canon again. Mike's parents got me the biggest Christmas present in the history of Christmas in 2016! The Canon 80D, I lost it, I was a blubbering puddle of tears! The sweet buttery lens that Michael bought me spectacular!
Full-Frame
I get asked why I don't shoot with a full-frame camera all-the-time; first off because I do this part-time. Secondly, because I carry my camera... it isn't sitting on a tripod for extended periods of time. My arms are doing all the work! Last I would like for pictures to be affordable and I bet you do too, so I will stay with my 3/4 frame for a while and enjoy everything it has to offer!
Studio?
YES! I LOVE studio work; it is my favorite place to be. Don't get me wrong, I love a beautiful outdoor picture (see my stunning photo above) but we don't always have that wonderful opportunity here in Texas, it gets hot and a bit miserable in the summer time. In my opinion, there isn't anything nearly as gorgeous as a beautiful studio portrait. They are simply stunning! So stay tuned, it is an investment. I hope to have it up in the new year!
Events?
YES! I LOVE events! I can also work them! Ask any of my past clients I am cool as a cucumber as a partyographer, weddingographer or Quince'ographer (see what I did there).
